Christophe G. Lambert, PhD, is a Professor of Medicine who joined the University of New Mexico in 2014 and became Chief of the Division of Translational Informatics in February 2022. Building on nearly 15 years of private-sector experience as the founder and CEO of a bioinformatics software company, his research spans clinical informatics, bioinformatics, cheminformatics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and systems thinking. Dr. Lambert serves as the SW CACTI Health Informatics Lead, co-Chairs the UNM HSC Data Science Advisory Group, and holds secondary faculty appointments in the Departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and Computer Science.
