Final Poster Session and Closing Ceremony NIH Common Fund Data Ecosystem (CFDE) Summer Internship at UNM
Date: Monday, August 4th, 2025
Location: UNM Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center
At this final event, all five interns were recognized and presented their research, covering a wide range of topics in biomedical data science. They had developed research plans, read papers, engaged with advisors and fellow interns, wrangled data and databases, coded software, implemented machine learning workflows, analyzed and visualized results, recorded their work in lab notebooks, and produced scholarly reports and posters, all in two months. All five fulfilled the requirements for successful completion of the internship, so this event was both a poster session and closing ceremony.
