I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of New Mexico, where I work as a Research Assistant in the Translational Informatics Division under the supervision of Dr. Jeremy Yang. My research lies at the intersection of causal inference and biomedical informatics, with a particular focus on understanding the causes of mental health conditions and neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD). A core part of my work involves identifying and auditing biases in observational studies, including butterfly bias and other structural biases that arise during causal inference.
